I was thrilled to learn that, effective January first, Mr. H. Lamar Jones has assumed the Presidency of the National Society for Histochemistry. Mr Jones served as a NSH liaison with us in the late 1990’s and was a member of our Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2020. The NSH, which he now leads, is a leading society its field, with over 4500 members worldwide. Mr. Jones currently serves in a number of histochemistry-related roles at Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham Alabama. Please join me in congratulating him on his new position.
