Have you paid your membership?

Membership is ordinarily renewable one year after the last payment of dues.  Each member should receive an automatically generated email reminder, three weeks before the renewal date.  Many graduate students and other clinical and research trainees attending the BSC’s 2023 meeting were given free membership for one year. If you are in this category, please continue to visit the BSC’s web site and use the information available by way of our many links and menus. In the summer of 2024 you will be invited to renew your membership.

It is necessary to renew your membership  in the Biological Stain Commission to continue to have access to Biotechnic & Histochemistry.  The easiest way to do this is online, by way of this web site, using either a credit card or PayPal. Click here to renew online now.

If you prefer to pay by snail-mailing a check, please also email Chad Fagan and John Kiernan to tell us that you have done so. For non-electronic payments we have to update the membership database manually to ensure that the member’s “active” status is maintained.

When you have renewed, please log in to the journal by way of the link on the Home page, and download a PDF file of a paper in Biotechnic & Histochemistry. If you cannot download without being asked to pay a $50+ fee, you are not recognized as a member!  Please contact the BSC’s Secretary, John Kiernan, by email for resolution of difficulties: kiernan[AT]uwo.ca  (Replace [AT] with the @ symbol).
